This is one of those weekends you don’t want to miss if you enjoy doing things with your dog. Whether you’re actively trialing, just getting started, or somewhere in between, this event is designed to give you as many opportunities as possible to get in the ring and have fun.
Running 9 trials across 3 days means you can really make the most of your time. You’ll have the chance to stack runs, work toward titles, and gain valuable experience without having to travel far. For a lot of teams, opportunities like this don’t come around often locally, so it’s a great chance to take advantage of having something right here in Northwest Arkansas.
If you’re newer to NASDA, this is a perfect entry point. The environment is welcoming, the community is supportive, and the variety of classes gives you the ability to try different elements and see what your dog naturally gravitates toward. You don’t need a perfectly trained dog to participate. You just need a willingness to learn and a dog that enjoys working.
For those of you already competing, this is a great weekend to make real progress. Multiple trials in one weekend means you can work through levels, chase titles, and get consistent reps in a trial setting. There’s a big difference between training and trialing, and having this many runs available helps bridge that gap.
And beyond the competition side of things, weekends like this are just fun. It’s a chance to spend time with like-minded people, talk dogs, share experiences, and be part of a growing sport in our area. Whether you’re running every trial or just coming out for a day, you’ll be part of something that’s still building momentum locally.
If you’ve been on the fence about entering, this is your sign to go for it. Mark your calendar, take advantage of the long weekend, and come spend it doing something your dog will love.
