The other night while I was feeding the sugar gliders I heard one of the Bengals meow yelling. So I go to see what the problem is. This wasn't the normal load meow over nothing . This was a come help now. When I opened the door Thatcher is on top of the cabinet closest to the door. The other cats are in the cage, on the cage top or on the washer/dryer. Those are saying nothing. Only Thatcher is telling me about it.
I'm still confused as to what he's telling me till I take another step.

This is Pretty Penny. She was walking around the house growling with this empty piece of plastic that she had gotten out of a small trash can.
I've never heard her growl like she was. It sounded like a different cat. She would walk up to different cat, sometimes putting the plastic on the floor with her foot on top of it. If one of the cats moved she would pick it up growling and run. LOL
Do you know what she doing? 😁

What a beautiful story

What a beautiful story

She was already spayed when I adopted her a few years ago — so I always knew she’d never have kittens of her own. But tonight… she reminded me that motherhood is more than biology.

She walked in from the yard, quiet and purposeful, and in her mouth was the tiniest, abandoned kitten. She padded over to me, placed him gently at my feet, and looked up with those steady eyes as if to say: “He needs help. You helped me once — now let’s help him.”

I froze for a moment, completely undone. That small, instinctive gesture carried so much love, so much trust. In that second, I realized she wasn’t just asking me to step in — she was stepping up herself. 🐾

Though she can’t give birth, she chose to be a mum. Patient, protective, selfless. She hovered over the little one, nudging him closer, settling beside him like she was passing down the safety she had once been given. My heart melted.

So the decision was easy. We’re keeping him. He’s family now. He’ll grow up with two mums: one with whiskers who chose him, and one with an open heart who said yes without hesitation.

Sometimes the most beautiful families are the ones we build, not the ones we’re born into. 💛
