Today we met Emily, Brendan, and their handsome pup, Otis!

Emily is originally from Akron, Ohio, Brendan is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and now they all call the Upstate home.

One of our favorite things about the barkery is hearing everyone’s stories and seeing where life has taken them before bringing them here.

🫧🐾 What a FUN day at our Pampered Pup Spa Day! 🐾🫧

Today was filled with baths, nail trims, treats, tail wags, and lots of very spoiled dogs. ❤️

We loved seeing so many familiar faces, meeting new pups, and helping a few dogs leave looking (and smelling 😆) their best.

One of our favorite things about Big Head Barkery is that it’s become more than a place to buy treats. It’s become a place where dog people gather, share stories, show off pictures of their pups, and spend time together.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by today, trusted us with your pups, and supported our little barkery.

Apparently Sheila has decided she’s shopping for the next generation 😅

We found her hanging out at Honey Child Children’s Boutique browsing toys and outfits like she’s someone’s favorite aunt.

👀 So far she’s:
✈️ test-flying toy airplanes
🚜 inspecting construction equipment
🛍️ pretending she’s a personal shopper
💸 spending money she definitely doesn’t have

Honestly… we’re not sure she understands this store is for children 😂

At this point we’re just following her around Downtown Inman and hoping for the best.

Just sitting in the red rockers, soaking up the sunshine, watching downtown Inman, and talking dogs. ❤️🐾

Honestly, the red chairs have become part of the barkery at this point. If they’re out front, we’re open. 😎

😂 Sheila has officially been reassigned to the self-serve dog wash department.

Unfortunately, her customer service skills are questionable, she hasn’t washed a single dog, and she mostly just stands there judging everyone. 🫧🐶

On the bright side… she’s excellent at supervising. 👀
