Thank you to ACF supporters. Because of you we are once again able to help a local rescue give a precious dog a second chance at a pain-free, happy life. Chain of Hope does so very much every single day and makes a huge difference in the welfare of animals in the KC community. Take advantage of Missouri's pleasant weather and explore the trails at George Owens, but watch out for the bears😉. The bears will remain on exhibit through January 31, 2026, approx 50+ bears. Dogs are permitted at George Owens, so leash up your pet and enjoy the surroundings. This quilt was designed and created by our friend, Lynn Tribbey Sievers, exclusively for Angel's Care Fund. It is approximately 57 inches wide and 68 inches long. Pictures do not do justice to this one-of-a-kind quilt. The stitching is perfection with the heart and paw details. Each square tells a story; each animal makes you smile. So, five sweet pups were rescued from a hoarding situation. As you can imagine, all five needed extra care. However, one had a severe limp. After being examined by the vet it was determined that this pup needed TPLO, or tibial plateau leveling osteotomy surgery.
This group of pups are the Fleetwood Mac puppies. The sweet guy you're helping is Peter. We understand, Peter is the most sweet and snuggly puppy you ever will meet. As always, TY for helping those in need.
