Our 2nd litter of Blanc de Hotots has been brought into the world! Our doe, Jean Grey, has graced us with 7 fat little babies this evening!

We are so happy to welcome two new litters to the barn this morning! We have a litter of 4 Britannia Petites from our doe, Elizabeth, and our first litter of Blanc de Hotots, from Neenah, with six babies!! We have two more does due today, so hopefully, we'll have more pictures coming!

Well, we have relocated and finished the new bunny barn. Now just need to move in the rest of the cages and, you know, the bunnies, lol.

Dad Said No Rabbitry went to the Northwest Rabbit Breeders show and had a wonderful time. Cade's homebred Dwarf Hotot Buck BB8 was Best of Breed in Youth A and his brother, C3PO, was Best of Opposite s*x in Youth B. Congratulations to Isobelle for your Best of Opposite in Youth A and Best of Breed in Youth B!! There was a VERY nice entry of 14 Dwarf Hotots in the Youth Shows. Cade's homebred Brittania Petites took both both Open A and Open B shows with a total entry of 12. His Chestnut Agouti Junior Buck, Ponyboy, was Best of Breed show A with Best of Opposite going to his Black Otter Junior Doe, Dolores Umbridge. In show B, Dolores Umbridge was Best of Breed with his Black Otter Junior Buck, Johnnycake, going Best of Opposite S*x. Morgan's Black Himalayan Senior Buck went Best of Opposite S*x Variety in Youth B and her homebred Mini Rex White Senior Doe, 6pack, went Best of Opposite S*x in Breed at the Youth B show as well. A great time was had by all at a very smoothly run event!

So Cade's rabbit did a thing today. Reserve Best In Show at Washington State Fair. (Not a great picture of either Cade or the rabbit, but you get what you can get 🤷‍♀️) Cade is so proud of his little homebred rabbit!! Congrats to all the winners!! We had a blast and will see ya'll tomorrow!

Not rabbit related, but still something our kids do that we are so proud of the hard work they put into it. They went down and participated in Washington State Fair for 4H Archery. Cade ended up 4th overall in Intermediate Compound and High Oral Reasons for Judging and Morgan is yet again the Junior Recurve Champion. They put in a lot of hard work and dedication to get here and we are so proud of them!
