UPDATE: K9 Raider has been found safe!

Police K9 Raider of Pagedale Police Department has escaped his confined area after recent storms and the PD is asking for the communities help in locating him.

K9 Raider is wearing a black collar with white “POLICE” lettering and is a brindle colored Dutch Shepherd.

K9 Raider is trained in police bite work and should not be approached.

If spotted please contact Pagedale PD at 314-726-1112

The dog that started it all; K9 Bax of Maryland Heights Police Department.

K9 Bax has been diagnosed with cancer and is scheduled for humane euthanasia this coming Monday. Please see MHPD’s page for details on the procession and pay your respects to this legend of a dog.

Our condolences go out to Bax’s handler and their entire department.

K9 Bax started it all for Faith Over Fear Dogs

It is with heavy hearts, that we announce that retired K9 Bax, has been diagnosed with stomach cancer. He served the Maryland Heights Police Department for seven years, before retiring in July of 2023. K9 Bax will take his “Walk of Honor” as we say goodbye to our beloved partner.

We invite our community to share their photos, stories, and memories of K9 Bax in the comments. Your words will mean so much to us.

We welcome the public to line the route in support of K9 Bax on Monday.

➡️Millwell Drive to Old St. Charles Rock Road
➡️Old St. Charles Rock Road to McKelvey Road
➡️McKelvey Road to Bridgeton Animal Hospital
