🚨 We have been made aware of our puppy pictures being stolen and used by scammers! 🚨
We will be taking steps to help eliminate this issue, but we want everyone to be cautious out there before purchasing anything!
🔒 Helpful Tips to Avoid Scammers When Buying a Puppy:
1. Video Call the Seller: Always ask for a live video call to see the puppy in real time with the seller. Scammers often avoid this or send pre-recorded clips.
2. Never Pay Upfront Without Verification: Be wary of anyone demanding full payment or deposits before any interaction. Use secure payment methods (not CashApp, Zelle, etc.)
3. Ask for Proof: Request recent photos with a dated item (like a newspaper) or videos showing the puppy with a family member.
4. Check for a Website or Social Media: Legitimate breeders usually have an established presence and history online. Look for reviews, tagged posts, and interaction.
5. Get References: Ask for past buyers you can contact or look up testimonials.
6. Watch for Red Flags: Super low prices, urgency ("Act now!"), or refusal to answer questions should all raise concern.
7. Use a Contract: Reputable breeders offer contracts for health guarantees, spay/neuter terms, and more.
8. Trust Your Gut: If something feels off, it probably is.
