With another chicken pickin on the new Silkie Showgirl Chick, ai moved the Mamas into a box in the secure shed. I even l moved the nesting pad and other eggs into it. I hope that wasn’t a bad call.

Food and Water Stands. The Silkie Chick has these cute raised food and water stands to keep the shavings out. I put plastic cutting boards or place mats under them to help keep them clean also. You can go to her page and she has a ‘store’, and someone custom makes these. So worth the $$!

Chicken Run now has a Cross-Breeze! And hardware cloth wire for protection for the Chickies! Handy Husband also installed my flower boxes on the Coop!

😭🥹 Check Your Shavings! I picked a bag without mold….so I thought! And lost a couple babies.

Got the hole covered in hardware cloth! 😀 Now they get a cross breeze. And my handy hubby ordered the ventilation fans for the ceiling.
