Lasher Meadows Farm Store will be closed today as we prepare for another great day at The Hyde Park Farmers Market!

We hope you’ll come see us next Saturday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at 4390 Albany Post Road in Hyde Park. We’ll have our farm-fresh eggs, pasture-raised pork, local products, and all of your favorite vendors from around the Hudson Valley.

Join us for the opening day of the 2026 season at The Hyde Park Farmers Market on Saturday, June 6 from 9am–2pm at 4390 Albany Post Road in Hyde Park!

Come shop fresh Hudson Valley produce, local meats & eggs, baked goods, specialty foods, flowers, herbs, artisan goods, handmade items, and so much more while supporting local farms and small businesses right here in our community.

✨ NEW THIS SEASON — POP Club! ✨

Our FREE Power of Produce Club for kids ages 3–12 helps children learn about healthy eating, local food, and farming through fun hands-on activities, cooking demos, tastings, crafts, scavenger hunts, and more. Kids earn POP Tokens to spend on fresh fruits and vegetables at the market!

Parents can sign children up at the market each Saturday.

Happy Birthday to the guy who keeps the farm running, the animals fed, the family laughing, and somehow still finds time to fix everything we break. 😂🐓🚜

Today we celebrate Brian — farmer, husband, dad, market manager, and the hardest-working man we know. From early mornings collecting eggs to late nights planning for the market, Lasher Meadows wouldn’t be what it is without you.

We hope your day is filled with good food, family, laughter, and maybe just a little time to relax (though we know that probably won’t happen 😅).

Please join us in congratulating Hannah on her college graduation from Dutchess Community College!! 👏
She graduated with her Associate’s Degree in Business Management and will be transferring to SUNY Delhi this fall to finish her Bachelor’s Degree!
That being said, Lasher Meadows Farm Store will be CLOSING EARLY 05/17/26 to celebrate Hannah’s graduation! We will be open from 11AM-2PM and would love for you to come congratulate her! 👩🏻‍🎓🐷🐓

🥚 Turkey Eggs Are One of the Best-Kept Secrets on the Farm 🦃

Ever wonder why you almost never see turkey eggs in stores?
It’s simple: turkeys don’t lay nearly as often as chickens, and farmers usually keep those eggs to hatch future poults instead of selling them. A turkey hen may only lay around 2 eggs per week compared to a chicken’s 5–7!

We cannot wait!!! June 6, see you at Opening Day of The Hyde Park Farmers Market!

On Thursday, some of our market committee members attended the The Hyde Park Chamber Of Commerce’s Annual Business Of The Year Dinner and celebrated milestone businesses and , as well as the Business Of The Year, ! It was an enjoyable evening of recognition, networking, and friends. We are so grateful to have the opportunity to work closely with so many small businesses in and around Hyde Park, including those who are also Chamber members. Interested in learning more? Proof that a farmer’s work is never done - we attended the Business of the Year Dinner, then jetted off to the farm to finish night chores. I did catch a ride up to the goats though, being that I’m actually wearing decent clothes! 😂
