Apple & Val are now healthy, happy and socialized kittens who are ready for their new homes, thanks to you! ADOPTABLE Apple & Val are almost 10 weeks old. They will be spayed, neutered, microchipped and given age-appropriate vaccines soon.

FUN FACTS ABOUT APPLE & VAL:

-Well-socialized with small dogs

-Enjoy car rides

-Excellent box packers- these two take packing boxes for their foster mom’s Lisa Rau upcoming move out of state very seriously. There is absolutely no time to play around when there is work to be done 🤣

They are both very healthy, playful and well socialized kittens.

We were recently asked to help TNR a small colony of cats in a neighborhood next to Walmart in Hurricane. We set 3 traps last night. We had one black cat in a trap this morning. One of the cats that has been frequenting the area was so friendly that the concerned resident was able to pick him up and put him in a carrier, after helping him off of a nearby roof.

We took both cats to the vet this morning. Neither cat is microchipped. We learned today that the orange cat has been previously neutered. We neutered and ear-tipped the black cat. Both are here resting comfortably in the AC.

** If the orange cat looks familiar to anyone, we’d love to reunite him with his owner. He has clearly been loved and socialized at some point in his life. He is very friendly and social. He has been climbing on the roofs of houses and getting stuck/needing rescue multiple times over the last several months. His fur was in terrible condition when he was found, making us think he is not being properly cared for at this time. We are hoping that he wasn’t dumped or abandoned after becoming inconvenient to the person who adopted him. **
