Today I cleaned out your crate and got it ready to be put away… I know I know that took forever but somehow I just couldn’t do it. For 4-5 years every time someone left someone else came in. But not with you… & now not with Casperson though I’m sure his story will go on and not be cut short like yours was… closing a door seems so weird. But I still think about you.. and I still kick myself for not just keeping you… but I thought one of 2 would be better than one of 9…. I was wrong.

This is a very hard post to write… definitely not the end to her story I had hoped for…

Betsy was found deceased and identified this morning not too far from where she came up missing.

I wanted to share some happy photos of this sweet girl who did not deserve this! I’m trying to hang on to 3 good years she had and not one horrible month and end.

A sincere THANK YOU to everyone who has looked for her, shared her posts, and put up with my craziness for the last month! Her life did matter!! Thank you!!

Today has been one month…One month since Betsy ran away from Fort Woof Dog Park. 751 Beach Street Fort Worth Texas.

Today I received a FaceTime from a guy who had trapped a very skinny dog that looked a lot like Betsy in his backyard. I was loading to head to Fort Worth when he called back to tell me it wasn’t her. I had told him she was a cower freeze & p**p scared not a fight scared… well this one was a fight scared & a male 😞 . To everyone still keeping an eye out THANK YOU! I know chances are slim… but slim is NOT impossible!

Still no sightings. Today cleaning I came across the tag I got her… the one we ordered with her name on it… atleast once in her life she had a tag with her name on it… but it never got put on her collar because I was meaning to buy a new one… she did have my foster mom tag on her when she left me… this is worse than one dying because I worry daily.. is she hungry? Hot? Scared?? Grrr

It’s been 8 days today… I’ve called everyone I can call.. sent messages and emails everywhere I can email and made
Multiple trips to Fort Worth hoping she will hear or smell or see me or one of her buddies from here and come running out of the bushes… but so far that has not happened. We have had 0 sightings… she hasn’t shown up in the shelters that I can see online.. and I’m still so very worried. If you know anyone near Fort Worth or Dallas please share Betsy with them. Thanks!
