Larvae tick month

It may surprise you to learn that tick encounters tend to go down in August. And maybe that’s a relief after making it through the 3 “tickiest” months of May, June and July. But there are still ticks out there. We thought you might like to know which ticks you need to look out for in August. Unfortunately, August is larval tick season, and larvae are nearly microscopic. Please apply if you can foster and keep your eye out if you’re looking for a new pup. For those asking why rescues charge so much for those breeds that get lots of applications? Your Fight is with those byb, not the rescues that rack up the fees to medically treat all the poor babies.
