Got any blankets, beds, toys, etc. that you have no use for? What about items, like treats, that you bought for your dog or cat yet they don’t want them? You could take those items and donate them to the pound for the dogs and cats to use while they wait to be adopted or claimed! You don’t have to spend your money on new items to help out with the pound, we appreciate all donations of any kinds! We’ve received lots of donations and I would love to see even more come in! If we can get enough donations, there could be a second giveaway prize so we have two winners instead of just one! Let’s get keep helping the pound out so we have a fully stocked new building! 🧡

Keep those donations coming as they are so helpful with the animals! ROUND 2 of the Animal Pound Drive!

At the end of last year, we were able to collect over 200 items and over $100 for the Humboldt pound! Sheri and I were so thankful for everyone that donated and I can promise everything has been a huge help to the animals staying there.

Fast forward to where we are now…. We have a brand new building that’s close to being finished that will be our new animal pound! This building will allow for more room for the animals and to allow for a more comfortable temporary stay while the furbabies wait for their forever person to come get them. While the new building is wonderful and has some improvements compared to building us Humboldt residents have known for a long time, there are still some items that the pound is needing to keep the animals well cared for during their stay!

SO… I’m hosting another Humboldt Animal Pound Drive to help get the new building stocked for all the animals that come and go! I have attached the Amazon wishlist at the bottom of this post for those that would like to donate through there. I also am working on getting a drop off tote set up at Humboldt Police Department for people to drop off donations as well. If you had donations but can’t get to the drop off tote or rather not load the car up, then just shoot me a call or text and I’m more that happy to come pick up your donations and do the transport for you!

Similar to the last time we did this, there will be another giveaway drawing for an Amazon gift card! Each item donated = one entry for the drawing! If the number of donations are high, then we might even see a second giveaway prize show up in later post that you’ll have a chance to win!

As always, donations are extremely appreciated and always needed for the animals at the pound. So thank you again to those who have donated in the past as well as thank you in advance to those who donate again for our new shelter!
