🐾 Meet Oso — your loyal shadow in the making 🐾
Oso is a 1.5-year-old Shepador (Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd mix) with a heart full of potential and a story that didn’t go the way it should have 💔
Like so many Texas dogs, Oso’s life started with plans that were never meant for him. He was intended to be used for breeding… but when life changed for his family, he was the one who lost everything. With a new baby on the way, there was suddenly “no time” and “no space” — and just like that, Oso was surrendered.
He lost the only home he had ever known.
He lost the dogs he grew up with.
And now… he sits in boarding, waiting for someone to give him a real chance 🥺
There was a plan for Oso — but through no fault of his own, that plan fell apart. Now he needs a new one… urgently.

Oso is not a “broken” dog — he’s an unshaped one. The kind of dog who, with guidance and consistency, will become incredibly loyal, deeply bonded, and everything you could ever want in a companion.
But boarding is not where a dog like Oso grows… it’s where he slowly shuts down.
