ADOPTION UPDATE:

We had 5 adoptions which means 5 pups that get to start over with their forever families 💜

Lulu- went to New Jersey with a wonderful family that love her dearly!!

Petey- also went up north, him and Lulu were siblings. His family adores him and he’s been adjusting well. We are so happy for him!

Kandra- this girl was a stray out in Cleveland tx. Her family drove down from Oklahoma and met a volunteer in texas to pick her up. They love her so much and she is spoiled!!! We love that for kandra😊

Princess- also came from Cleveland tx with kandra. This girl got her wish and now lives in Tennessee!! Where she will get to see snow ❄️

Ivy- was rescued off the euthanasia list at BARC. Her new mama saw her online and loved her immediately! She came into the shelter with a cherry eye and we had that removed and she is looking amazing! Ivy is now living in Oregon 🫶🏼

Thank you to all the fosters that make it possible to help these dogs. We appreciate you!

And thank you to the adopters welcoming the pups with open arms. Happy tails 🐶

This poor girl 🥺

Rosas Reyna reached out to us for help today for this girl that has been living on the streets of Cleveland tx. Her skin is a mess, her teeth are worn down, has some gash on her side, not spayed, heartworm positive and the list goes ON….

She deserves a chance and that’s exactly why we said YES!

We would be so greatful for any help towards her vetting🫶🏼. Welcome to HAP Ella💜

Update on Jinx-

Jinx is a Parvo SURVIVOR 💕
look at this girl, alert, eating, drinking, going potty, all like a normal pup!

I can’t say thank you enough to the incredible people that were cheering her on, driving her to appointments, caring for her all throughout the night, and offering support.

This girl gets her second chance! Jinx is leaving her Parvo foster and heading back to her long term foster on Wednesday 🐶

ADOPTION UPDATE:

We had 5 adoptions this week! 5 fur babies that get to start their new chapter with their forever families❣️

Starting with our 2 local adoptions- Prince & Rip

-Prince was our first cat in the rescue and this cutie found the best home with 2 other cats! He is spoiled already!

-Rip was adopted by his foster!! This sweet boy was found running in the street and thankfully we got to him before he got hit. His family loves him so much already!

Then for our out of state adoptions:

-Summer was found with her 8 other siblings and her momoutside in the texas heat. We got all pups and mom into foster homes where they got vetted and awaited their new families! Miss summer is enjoying life in Michigan! We are so happy for her!

-Baloo (now cosmo) was on the euthanasia list due to lack of space in one of our Houston shelters. His Foster went above and beyond for him, and we are so thankful for her! Without her, Baloo wouldn’t be here today. Baloo is enjoying his new life in New York, and fitting in perfectly with his new family!

And our last pup Astro! Astro was another euthanasia list dog, that I’m so happy we were able to save! This boy is so special and his foster poured a lot of love, time and dedication into him! Astro also went up north, and his new family says he’s perfect. 🖤

We could not have done this without all of our fosters, saying YES! We are so greatful!!!

Happy Tails 🐾❤️

Jinx update!

Look at this beautiful face!! Finally what we’ve been waiting for, Jinx seems to be turning the corner and making some positive steps forward. She’s much more alert today, and was hungry for chicken! We could not have done this without a whole team behind her. Her wonderful Parvo foster Joyce, Jerny Lynn for all the support/advice and help, Ken Holderman her long term foster checking in daily and driving her wherever she needed to go, and assistance from Sunnyside Street Dogs giving her meds the first night to help keep her alive before she got into the vet.

She’s still not out of the woods yet since she still has mucus / runny p**p but this is definitely a step in the right direction. Thank you to everyone that donated to her vet care, every penny went to Jinx and helped get all the needed medication/ Fluids etc

Stay tuned for more updates 🐾💜

Update on Jinx-

Well poor girl has texted positive for parvo. We are doing everything we can for her. She is currently at the vet and we hope she continues to fight. So far, she doesn’t have any appetite, not wanting to drink water and very lethargic. Her Foster has gone above and beyond driving her everywhere all through the hours of the night, and then today as well.

We were able to raise $418 in donations so far, I would love to continue to at least raise $300 more to help cover her expenses and veterinary care. A big thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone that has donated, I truly appreciate you and I know Jinx does as well. I will continue to post updates, and we hope Jinx wins this battle!!

🚨HAPPENING NOW🚨

We were asked to help with this sweet puppy and she has started showing signs of parvo. We want to do everything we can to save her! When she came into the rescue she was acting completely normal, but now she’s not eating, not drinking, and starting to get lethargic. As a newer rescue, we definitely need help. We need to target for at least $900.

Please, if you can help Jinx we would be so grateful and so would she🥺❤️‍🩹

Henry is looking for his forever home!

This cutie was saved from the euthanasia list. He is approximately 7 months old, super dog friendly and kid friendly! He loves going for car rides, or just playing in the backyard. Since he is still a puppy, he would benefit from a family that is willing to still help with some simple training that all puppies need! He is potty trained, and working on his kennel training!!

Henry is fully vetted and ready to go!!
