Today is the last day for the Houston Dog Show! We've enjoyed talking to everyone and meeting some of our supporters! Here's a video of Tobias driving the Range Rover and Zoey, an honorary Crested, playing her piano to raise funds for the rescue!

Come see us at the Houston Dog Show today through Sunday! We're in booth 717. Our adoptable dogs will be available to meet you along with some of our personal dogs.

This year's raffle prizes are a large Hulken bag and a medium Hulken bag. If you haven't seen these bags, let me tell you, they are AMAZING! I use them for everything. The wheels are so smooth and the handles are comfortable. If you'd like to purchase raffle tickets, you can do so on our website. And yes, we will ship the bags to you. Tickets are $5 for 1 or 6 for $20.

Shelby is an 8 year old Crested/Pomeranian mixed female. She is a Grimes County hoarding survivor so she had a rough start to life. Since moving her to a foster home with fewer dogs, Shelby has learned to trust humans and has become quite playful. Her personality is really blooming!

Lester is a playful 2 year old male powder puff. He loves doing zoomies in the yard and playing with his foster siblings, Shelby in particular. Don't worry though, Lester also loves nap time!

Tucker is still available for adoption! He's a 10 year old very hairy hairless. He does grow a full coat if not shaved. He's a very sweet boy but he's a bit of a loner. He prefers to keep to himself rather than be with the other dogs. He'd be great as an only dog or a home with one or two other dogs.

We have taken in 3 new dogs that will be available soon. We will post more information and pictures when they are available for adoption.

- 4 year old powder puff male

Mavis had her eye removal surgery. She has adjusted really well and is doing great! She will join her new family once she gets the stitches removed and is healed.

We've already posted about Winston and PeeWee being adopted together but we'll mention it again. We're thrilled that this senior pair get to live the rest of their days together. The are doing really well in their new home!

Thanks again to every single person who has supported us! We were facing some difficult decisions at the end of 2024. Your support pulled us through and gave us a little nest egg for future needs. We simply cannot do this without each and every one of you!

We hope that 2025 is a great year for everyone! Stay safe in this cold weather, especially those of us in Texas who aren't used to it!
