We closed intake to raise $20,000, and we’ve already raised $6,000. If we can reach $10,000, an anonymous donor has stepped up and will match it by $10,000! That means we only have $4,000 to go to unlock that match. Please help us reach $10,000 so we can reopen intake and save more lives.
This work is costly, but every dollar makes a difference. Here’s a snapshot of our typical costs (not all-inclusive):
Spay/Neuter: $130–$195
Transport to vets (when volunteers aren’t available): $30–$50
Vaccines: $60
Heartworm test: $35
Boarding: $15–$20 per day
Collar and tag: $5
Dewormer: $9
Heartworm/flea preventatives: $10
Microchip $15
Doxycycline before heartworm treatment: $22
Heartworm injections (fast kill): $125–$250
There are additional costs for dog food, other medical issues or surgeries, and insurance. The reality is there are many expenses involved in saving lives, and we want to be prepared to help every dog in need.
