Our family has grown up with dogs large and small over the years. We have found the Havanese to be an intelligent, loving and friendly breed. We originally started with just our male, My Buddy Walter Owen. He was such a joy and quick learner!

Several months after Buddy joined the family, we welcomed our female, Kid Sister Olive Owen. She had a whole new level of energy and personality. We got Olive as an older pup, not socialized, scared of EVERYTHING and needing love. She took some time and work but has really become a staple in our home. Her spirit is so beautiful and eager to please that she didn't take much at all to fall into her place in the family.
