Dutch Shepherd Mix | Female | 1Y | 50 lbs | HW-

This scared baby has only been given 5 days at the shelter before she was put on the euthanasia list, and she hasn’t even made it to the adoptions floor😭 She’s on the list for behavior since she’s been pancaking in the back of her kennel and not wanting to walk out or back in. When she saw me she curiously came to the front of the kennel, but shied away as soon as I opened the door and approached her with the leash. After some coaxing she let me leash her and was even brave enough to walk out of the kennel herself! In the run she was nervous as first, but opened up quickly and once she does she is such a lover girl! She was also super interested in the dog in the run next to us, although she did get much more nervous once I took her out on the leash to meet her. I’ve noticed that she does get attached to her humans VERY quickly and upset when they leave. She’s a very sensitive girlie who is going to need someone to give her time and patience to come out of her shell and feel more confident about the world. I hope she can get that chance 🤍

Momma Marge is pretty immediately interested in whatever you have to offer! She came right up to me and I leashed her up and fed her some treats to give her a break from her puppies. She didn’t want to go too far but didn’t mind being a few steps away. She really didn’t mind me getting close and in her space with her babies there. She has some feral dogs next to her that are really stressing her out, she needs a nice quiet place to take care of her babies.

📝 This pet can only be tagged by a RESCUE group but please remember all rescues need FOSTERS in order to tag this pet and save their life. This pet cannot be fostered or adopted through the shelter.

My boy Frankie is a loooooong boi with short legs, a 64lb lowrider. This is the type of dude who has no thoughts and just vibes. He sits nicely for treats, eagerly tries to play with neighbor dogs through the fence, and was friendly on his TT’s with a female and a male. His notes describe him as being quiet in his kennel and wiggly when he greets people, and my notes match that! This is a super sweet boy and if you’ve ever been looking for a staffie/weiner dog combo Frankie is your guy.

Doug’s owner died and that’s how he ended up, how confusing that must be for him ☹️ he’s a super chill and stoic dude who minds his own business and checks back in with you for some quick treats and pets. He’s one of those that you have to work to earn his trust but once you do you’re glad you made the effort. For how chill he was he shocked me on his temp test, he started trying to play with the other pup (although he was a bit awkward) and it brought out a different side of him! I can’t wait for him to feel safety and comfort again after losing his owner.

Donnie is all the good things you want in a dog packaged into one. Calm in his kennel and an absolute goofball outside of it. He loved to flip on his belly and wiggle around, he liked to flop in my lap and give kisses, play bowed at the fence line, and even tried to get a scared dog to play. Donnie’s joy for life is contagious and will leave you laughing and wanting more!

Stray Bite Case – Quarantine Finishes 10/23/26 at 7:00pm
Minor Bite to finger.
Zoo Keeper found the kitten on zoo grounds, captured the cat for relocation, then the kitten bit her.

Behavior note: relax in the kennel, loves caresses and wet food.

This little baby has a lot to say, he meows for your attention since he’s just a wittle baby. I’ve seen him a couple times when I went to cat eval and he’s always been super interested but then scares away when you get close. He’s an itty bitty kitty whose a lil scared.

I had to meet Vanessa because one of my favorite people is named Vanessa, and what’s better than 1 Vanessa? 2. This little cutie patootie was a foster return and has potential ringworm that’s totally treatable. She’s got a lot of personality packed into her tiny 5lb body. You can’t go wrong with having a Vanessa in your life.
