This is a great opportunity to get to know a Malinois by fostering!
⁉️HOW DOES FOSTERING WORK⁉️
A foster is a family that has gone through our approval process to make sure their home is appropriate to foster a Malinois. Then we carefully consider what temperament Malinois would work best. We take into consideration how much experience you have, how active you are, what your family dynamics are like and many other things. We then look at the dogs that need fosters, most of our dogs come from shelters that have a deadline on their dogs. So sometimes we have to move quickly to save a dog. That’s when we need pre-approved fosters that are ready to bring a dog into their home.
We never knowingly bring aggressive dogs into our rescue, we choose dogs whose temperament shows that they will make good family or fun sport dogs i.e. dock diving, agility, etc.
We ask our foster homes to provide food, toys, basic training and LOTS of love. We provide training support and all medical. AND who knows! Maybe you’ll fall in love with your foster dog and if you do!!! Our fosters get first choice at adopting.
