We are helping a friend rehome their sweet family dog:

“It breaks my heart to write this, but we are needing to find a new home for our dog. He is a 7-year-old German Shepherd/Husky mix and truly one of the sweetest dogs I’ve ever known. He is neutered, housebroken, and very well behaved in the home. He can stay home crate-free without issues, as he really does not enjoy being in a crate.

He is super chill overall but still loves to run and be active when he gets the chance. He loves belly rubs, car rides, the water and swimming in the river. He is great in public and on a leash. He does great with adults, older kids, and other dogs, and he has been such a loved part of our family.

Recently, he has become uncomfortable around our one-year-old. Because of this, we feel he would do best in a home without small children or toddlers. He is such a good boy and so loving and affectionate, but he is clearly feeling stressed by our rambunctious toddler and we simply cannot keep them in the same environment.

This is not a decision we made lightly, and we are committed to finding him the right home where he can thrive and get the love and attention he deserves. We will be very selective because we love him deeply and want the absolute best for him.”
