CousCous says it's hard packing for a new move! More updates to follow after the move is complete...unless eggs hatch before then. Day 50 today.

Just a quick little update:

I caught a pastel ovulation yesterday so my season is still going! She was bred to my queenspin male. Hoping for some great animals in that clutch. I'm still waiting on one more ovulation for the 2014-2015 season.

I currently have 6 eggs on the incubator on day 38! This is a who's your daddy clutch and I'm anxious to see who the father ended up being.

Finally, B. H. Reptiles is moving mid October. Updates may be sparse until after the move. Then hopefully I'll have my new light tent set up and can take some full collection shots. Next season should yield some beat babies! Once I have a finalized list of pairings, I'll be sure to post them!

Merry Christmas to me!

Caught this lovely bumblebee in the act of laying! She's locked once with each of the following males: pewter, firefly get hypo, and queenspin het hypo. Any guess who the father might be?

Funny story, this female locked with a pewter early in the season (a male I don't own). I assumed she'd take the season off and I'd breed her next season (it's her first season). About a week before she ovulated, I noticed that she was starting a building swell, so I throw my firefly in and immediately threw in my queenspin after the firefly unlocked. Each male only had one lock. I'm curious what will hatch out!
