The new foster dog rescue tags came!
They did a great job 😎

We don’t want to adult today. Who can relate?

Update 10/30. Technically, Enzo is not available yet. He just came in and we’re learning about him and his needs and how best to match him so that he never gets owner surrendered again.
This week was a surgery week and busy with dogs and haven’t been online much. But wow, y’all are showing him the LOVE, thank you 🤗

Welcome Enzo. He was owner surrendered today. Young, active boy that will need a breed experienced home.

Good information. They end up in rescue alot because the person buying one as a puppy hasn't done their research. Then they end up surrendering a 2-4 year old with no boundaries.
Many times, one has been rehomed numerous times before ending up being dumped on the street or at animal control or being surrendered to rescue.

ADOPTED!
Lucas went to his new home today. He joins the family of MPRH alum Skipper aka Malaki (standing in front).
Lucas was returned by his original adopter in Feb 2024 and had been waiting for someone to want him ever since.
Thank you for opening your heart and home to an older sweet boy 🤗

Lucas had an appt this afternoon to check his thyroid levels to see if he’s on a good dosage. Little did I know that the test had to be within a certain window of his medication.
So I left him at the clinic and had a few hours to kill before they could do the bloodwork.
It ended up being low. So DrA upped his dosage and it will need to be rechecked again in 2 weeks. He was a good boy and he had fun greeting everyone in the clinic lobby, esp all the big doggies that got picked up to go home.

ADOPTED!!!
Harley went to her new home today and to say that she was happy and excited would be an understatement!
Harley was a breeder surrender and she patiently waited 3 years for someone to want an older, spunky one eyed red girl.
Her new mom is retired and Harley will be getting all the lovins as an only dog.
Happy life sweet girl 😊

Harley had a home visit and meet and greet this afternoon. Everything went great and it seems like a great match.
She has a vet appt Tuesday and then we should be doing her adoption Wednesday or Thursday 😊
