✨ What a year, IDS Houston! ✨
We kicked off 2025 with The Great Design Race and never slowed down—from an inspiring and empowering talk with LuAnn Nigara, to creating change through Art with a Purpose, and hosting our first-ever Houston pop-up with Designers for Dogs 🐾
We hit the road to Round Top with Star Furniture, learned how to play mahjong, and made history with our first Swatched Competition alongside HCC and Carver High School, supporting and inspiring the next generation of designers 🎨
We celebrated BIG wins at the IDS National Convention in New Orleans, where our very own Juliana Ewer & Christine Cook brought home design awards 🏆 — and IDS Houston proudly took home the Chapter IMPACT Award for our philanthropic efforts ❤️
Along the way, we continued to grow through incredible CEUs with Sherwin Williams, Hilltop Stone, and Clean as a Whistle, and wrapped up the year in style with our holiday party at the B/S/H Experience Design Center ✨

✨🎉 What a Night! The IDS Houston Holiday Party Went BIG! 🎉✨
We wrapped up the season in true holiday style — and wow, did this year deliver! From sparkling cocktails to full-blown casino night fun, our community showed up ready to celebrate, connect, and give back.

We are excited to welcome our newest board member, Kyleen Bushroe, who is filling a vacancy in our member at large position. The board is excited to fill the position that was vacated when our previous member at large moved to the secretary position earlier this year.

Kyleen has been a wonderful member of IDS and we are excited to see her stepping into a leadership role.

Please congratulate her on her selfless service to our organization, and we look forward to introducing her to you at our holiday party on December 11 at 5 PM at BSH!

About Kyleen:
Kyleen Bushroe joins the IDS board with 7 years of experience in interior design as owner and principal designer of her firm Kyleen Bushroe Interiors in The Woodlands, TX. With degrees in Economics and later Interior Design from the New York Institute of Art and Design, Kyleen specializes in creating elegant, functional, timeless spaces with a keen sense of logistics and budgets. As IDS Member- at- Large, she is passionate about supporting our design and trades community and fostering philanthropy in the industry.
