As a rescue community one of our adopters lost a CH kitty age 2 to a bladder blockage. I took my personal CH kitty to the vet Friday as a precaution. He was very dehydrated. I’m giving him 100cc of SQ fluids a day to get ahead of his dehydration, adding wet food and hydrocare, and cosequin to his diet immediately to help prevent stones. He lost almost a pound in a month. We will see the vet in 6 weeks for another set of blood work to check his dehydration status. I’ve never seen him drink from any of the 3 fountains or water dishes on the floor.

Stormi (aka “Zoomie Queen”)

Age: Just a young pup, so my energy level is off the charts!

Hobbies: Exploring the outdoors, taking loooong walks (they say I’m a power walker), playing fetch, and looking for snacks!

Personality Type: Sweetheart with a side of high-energy zoomies. I’m always down for an adventure or a game, especially if it involves treats.

Special Skills: Kennel trained, potty trained, and a pro at “sit” (when treats are involved). I’m basically a doggie Einstein when snacks are on the line.

Looking For: A human who’s ready to match my boundless energy and doesn’t have other dogs—I’m a little too much of a party pup for them right now!
