Sharing with the family’s permission. Today I had the honor of helping this wonderful family say goodbye to their boy Tychon. This is a picture of Tychon after he fell asleep with his head on his dad’s lap and his favorite ball in his mouth. This moment so beautifully encompasses what saying goodbye at home is to me. An intimate, peaceful passing with their favorite people and things all around them ❤️. I know you’re now running and playing Tychon, and thinking of how much your family love and miss you. Be free sweet boy ❤️

- Feeling Altruistic
I (Eric) saw this comic & it made me think of our Helping Others Bucket List but also of my son, Ricky & his effect on others without even knowing it!
See if you ever meet my son at his age of 17 months, he comes off kind of shy & reserve. But a few weeks ago, we were at church & we saw a friend of ours who was just in the hospital. As, we were checking in on him, Ricky did something totally amazing. He reached up and grabbed the gentleman's finger and took him for a walk up & down the aisle.
Now, you might be like, oh that is cute or big deal...but so far in his very young life, he has never reached out for anyone outside of me, Darcee, or very close family. And what was even more amazing is how this gentleman, who knows Ricky is reserve, seemed to GLOW as they walked together!
Something so SIMPLE can make a GREAT impact on others!
