Impulse control = knowing when it’s your turn.

Notice the break of command by my Beauceron when my Pomeranian was released, that’s exactly why we train it. And yes, we’re adding distance + out of sight 👀.

Clear communication = less conflict, safer dogs, and a calmer home.

🥳 Big year. 20 years of doing this professionally. Also the year I will turn 40.

Started at the bottom as a Siberian Husky rescue volunteer & kennel tech at a vet clinic, cleaning runs, walking dogs, learning the basics from the ground up. Then a kennel tech at boarding kennels. No shortcuts, no overnight success, just time, reps, and a lot of lessons (some the hard way).

Grateful for every dog, every client, and every phase of the journey. Still learning, still sharpening, still showing up. Thank you forever to those who have helped me grow along the way.

Literally training and exercising two very different, reactive dogs from my chair. Most “training” fails because people treat every dog the same. I can give countless examples of client dogs who have been through that with prior trainers.

⚠️A tired dog isn’t a trained dog.

Exercise alone won’t fix behavior.
Ignoring drive won’t make it disappear.

Pet dogs need boundaries.
Working dogs need purpose.
Both kinds of dogs benefit from both as well!
One needs structure to stop making bad decisions. The other needs direction so it can think.

We build both through real work, real environments, and habits that actually stick.

📩 Spots for Board and Train and Daycare Programs are limited - if you’re ready for real results and not just a tired dog, reach out. I focus on the individual dog’s needs, balancing mental work, physical outlets, and structure to create a safer, more fulfilled dog.

Training with Hera, a 3 year old Siberian Husky! A new environment can be overwhelming at first. This is why I don’t rush dogs.

Day one: observing, hesitant, figuring things out.
Now: more confident, responsive, and having fun.

When dogs are given clarity and consistency, their confidence naturally grows. How the dog feels about training and working with me is very important.

Sixteen Working Dogs. Two Days. High Level Helper Work.

Christian Gomez Protection Workshop
Hosted by Magnum Opus K9 Training

Join us in TEXAS for a two-day protection workshop with Christian Gomez, focusing on building better communication, clarity, and development in protection work for both dog and handler.

Each working team will receive two sessions per day. Christian will speak individually with each handler to discuss what they’ve been working on and their goals, then develop a plan and work the dog accordingly.

After each session, Christian will also take time to answer questions and explain the training, making it a great learning environment for both working participants and auditors.

This workshop is open to all levels.

Be part of the 2nd Coffee Class!
☕🐾 SIT, STAY & SIP

Join us for a two hour guided, pet-friendly coffee shop hangout & training session.

This is not about perfection.
It’s about learning how to settle, wait, and relax in real-world spaces with coffee in your hand.

✨ What to expect:
• Light coaching throughout
• Leash manners & settling
• Indoor + patio exposure
• Calm, structured environment
• Zero judgment, lots of support

👉 Your dog doesn’t need to be “good” to participate.
That’s literally why we’re here. *Serious reactive, vocal, and aggressive dogs will need to go through a training course before participating in public events.

🗓 SaturdayMarch 21, 2026 - 11am-1pm

🧠 Event Rules

We’ll say it like this 👇
• Dogs must remain on leash at all times
• No on-leash greetings unless directed
• Bring high-value treats
• Give dogs space — calm > social
• If your dog needs a break, that’s a win, not a failure
• This is a learning environment, not a free-for-all

Calm dogs make public spaces better for everyone. 🤘🏼
