Meet Fred 🐶 - one of our senior dogs that we saved from Harris County Pets shelter here in I cannot fathom how someone could have dumped him on the streets to fend for himself. He is the sweetest boy and has nothing but love to give despite what people have done to him. He was very skinny and his body weathered upon intake so I’m guessing he was living on the streets for a while. He has been safe with us for several months and this boy checks all the boxes: ✅ House Trained ✅ Dog Friendly ✅ Cat Friendly ✅ Quiet ✅ Gentle ✅ Calm ✅ No Separation Anxiety … I could go on and on. We are proud to have such a good boy in our rescue and excited to see what the future has in store for him.

Harmony is no longer a and has officially become a ! This sweet, gentle girl almost lost her life at Harris County Pets shelter due to lack of space. She spent her rescue journey at my aunt’s house making tons of friends 🐶 🐱 This girl wouldn’t hurt a fly and the world is a scary place to her. We don’t know what her story was before entering the shelter but we sure know her new chapter is going to be so much better. Harmony made it to just in time to celebrate Canadian Thanksgiving and she sure is in for a surprise once that white fluffy stuff ❄️ starts falling from the sky. Her forever mom is a pioneer for our rescue being our first Canadian adopter and we now have 2 more dogs heading there in the next few weeks. Exciting times for our rescue and I’m so proud to have fellow Canadians supporting my mission to save homeless pets in Houston. Happy life sweet Harmony!

Lucie is no longer living in a kennel at the shelter but rather hiking the mountains of Colorado thanks to her awesome dad for adopting her. I met Lucie while volunteering at Harris County Pets shelter and she is exactly the type of dog people want as a security dog. I didn’t want to see Lucie get adopted locally from the shelter and that be her fate. She has such an innocent soul and playful personality I needed her fate to be in my hands. I quickly tagged her to safety, she joined our rescue pack and within a few days her forever family submitted an application for her. Lucie is still learning to trust the world again. People were not nice to her in her former life but now she is surrounded by love and a family that knows her breed and is giving her the patience she needs. We wanted to share Lucie’s story with the world and thank everyone who helps support our efforts to provide new chapters to these beautiful souls. Hike some mountains for me, Lucie!

Mitch is a lover, there’s no question about that! Meet Mitch, just a big puppy looking for his forever home. Mitch is very playful, dog friendly, house trained and has the most handsome brindle coat. He transferred into our rescue a few weeks ago and we are working hard to show the world how precious this boy is. If you are interested in learning more about Mitch, message us. We have plenty of adorable footage of him and he is adoption ready.

Henry is such a sweetheart and loves to give and receive affection. Saved from the streets of Houston, Henry is a warrior and I can feel his gratitude for being rescued. Our sweet Charlie (now Hugo) has been ADOPTED. This sweet little boy lost his home alongside two other fur siblings and we were asked to help find him a new home. We quickly got to work, took him to the vet, did a photoshoot and got him posted. It didn’t take long for his forever family to find him and Charlie is now part Canadian 🤩🇨🇦 Charlie was adopted by a Canadian family living here in Houston that likes to sail and travel. Charlie is the perfect travel companion given his petite size. His parents got him groomed and he looks like a brand new dog. His new chapter has already begun and we are so excited for him!

Our beautiful happy girl Lexus got adopted a few weeks back and is doing fabulously at her forever home. She moved to Portland, Maine and said farewell forever to the scorching Texas heat. Lexus gets along with everybody and is always rocking a big smile. She had such a fun rescue journey at my aunt’s alongside many other wonderful dogs we have saved that were her besties. Her adopter’s originally applied for a different dog that wasn’t the right fit but we knew Lexus definitely was. Sure enough it was a match made in heaven and Lexus now spends her days hiking and being loved on by her new mom and dad. Happy life you fun girl!

It has been a long week for our rescue dog Fred! He went in for his dental cleaning and mass removal surgeries on Wednesday. All went well and so far the incisions are healing despite their location on the side of his body. The vet has sent one of the masses off to the lab and we are hoping all comes back negative. Fred has been rocking the cone of shame and running into the wall numerous times a day poor thing. His foster is doing an awesome job and has been hand feeding him as eating with a cone on is not the easiest. We are so grateful to his foster for being so dedicated to Fred and showing him so much love during his rescue journey. Please send positive vibes to our sweet senior Fred 🩷🙏🫶🏻
