All dogs need to learn how to swim in a pool as well as know where the exits are. To them, it looks like a big water square and no ground. It’s not the same as a lake or pond where it just declines. They need to learn that they can rely on their webbed paws to keep them moving and that there ARE ways to get out. There’s nothing scarier for them in a pool than them thinking there is no way out. It’s summertime it’s time to enjoy the water safely!

PUZZLES! These are so important for your dog’s health! They need to be fed and challenged mentally just as much physically! It does a few great things for them simultaneously. It encourages problem-solving, focus,effort, patience,and persistence. Dogs fatigue faster mentally than physically. Solving puzzles for fun will also correlate and help with real puzzles outside the home! One day it could save either their life or yours.

How to read pet food labels!

I don’t consider feeding a dog a raw diet and something different than just convenient , dry kibble as “spoiling my dog” but rather it’s choosing to be a proactive and a responsible owner in what my dog is exposed to internally and externally.
