Two little gingerbread baby boys were each adopted into the most perfect fit families in December.

Harry, the gentleman, now lives in Colorado with his 4-year-old human brother, who immediately became his best friend. With another human baby on the way, Harry is the perfect personality pup to fit into his new family.

Sirius, the playful sweetheart, has always loved being busy. He now has a 12-year-old human brother AND two dog siblings AND three cats to keep him busy and boss him around! He will play with whoever is available until he crashes into a deep puppy nap.

Congratulations to both boys, each finding a perfect fit family before Christmas, where each of their personalities will flourish!

We want to say a huge thank you to everyone for their generous donation! They arranged a training for their customers where 100% of the fee went straight to us! Isn't that a cool idea?? Their customers got to attend a great training and know they were donating to our rescue. We got to meet the team and felt so honored to be a part of their generosity. They even requested we bring as many babies with us as possible. Well, we did!
We love it when we find companies with the same passion as us. We couldn't have been more honored and felt so blessed! Thank you, PROGNOST Team!

Once again, blew us away with their event planning and generosity! We had such a great time at "Pictures with the Grinch" last Sunday, meeting pups, sharing information about our rescue, and collecting donations.

As their Rice Village location "Rescue of Q4," we'll be at one more event tonight, Yappy Hour, from 6-8pm. Hope to see you there!

These two beauties were officially adopted in November.

Glacia came to our rescue as a stray with a skin infection, parasites, and was very malnourished. She is now healthy and the perfect addition to a wonderful family who has followed our rescue for a while. She gets to hunt backyard lizards during her new mom's porch coffee time, she plays fetch and goes on a lot of walks with her new human brother, and gets lots of pets and TV cuddles with her new Dad. What a lucky girl!

Chloe was adopted several years ago but returned to us about 9 months ago in pretty bad shape from her allergies. Her amazing foster Dad poured his heart and soul into Chloe for 6 months before we even started looking for her new family. Well, Chloe's new mom is not only local and a long-time supporter of our rescue, but she is also now Chloe's biggest health advocate and best friend. Chloe is so happy to be loved and taken care of for the rest of her life!

Adorable Angus came to us simply as a stray with a mysteriously swollen face. We took him to the veterinarian immediately, and he healed so quickly. This healthy, meaty baby boy was ready to find his new family. After patiently waiting for his match, his perfect fit family finally found him and applied!

Angus is now the baby of a big family and has over an acre to run around on with two young human siblings who are thoroughly entertained by him. He has a mom who spoils him and a dad who is so proud to have his new buddy. Congratulations to Angus and his new family!

I have a confession! Now, hear me out before you judge me! I've been keeping these two little cuties a secret. Yes, I have! I've been selfish, and I've wanted to keep them all to myself! I've had so much cuteness that I have to spread it around to all of YOU before I EXPLODE!

These two baby boys were abandoned at a bakery in Houston. They were so tiny and malnourished that even the doctor thought they were younger than they were. Well, now that they have been smothered in all of my "Auntie Kimmie" love, they are growing like weeds!

I am honored to introduce you to Harry Potter (brown) and Sirius Black (black and white)! These two little cuties are full of love, joy, and cuteness! It's almost too much for me to handle! So please soak it all in and tell me, can you say no to those faces? Yeah! Me neither! 🤣😂

So many squishy dog faces in adorable costumes all in one place! We could barely control ourselves! We had so much fun at Three Dog Bakery's Growl-O-Ween in Rice Village yesterday. We were able to give out incredible free treats generously donated to us by and .

Growl-O-Ween is this Saturday 10/19 at Three Dog Bakery. This is a HUGE event, and we will be there at the Rice Village location as part of ~45 trick or treat stations for doggies!! Look for our tent along the sidewalk where we will have doggie treats, costumes, and more! We really hope to see you there!

Great news!! The coolest dog bakery in Houston, Three Dog Bakery, chose us to be their "Rescue of the Quarter" for their Rice Village location this year! Thank you, !

That means we are special guests for all 5 of their events in October, November, and December. They will also be collecting donations for us daily in-store at the Rice Village location from amazing customers who would like to donate to our rescue.

Two events happen to be very soon! The first is this Thursday, 10/17. It is the October "Yappy Hour" which is on the 3rd Thursday evening of each month. Hope to see you there!

Our September Adoption is for the kindest, most gentle boy. Neeko set a KFHA rescue record for the huge number of applications we received for him in a 48-hour period. Luckily, our specialty is matchmaking, so we got to work and spent a lot of hours speaking to several incredible families. Boy, was it worth it when we saw him meet his potential new Dad! It was love at first sight! Each day of the adoption trial period just got better and better, so the best we can do is listen to Neeko, and he clearly told us that's his new family. We are so thrilled to continue to watch how happy he has been being his new Dad's sidekick and getting spoiled by his new Grandma. Congratulations to Neeko!

She's ready! Meet Glacia Storm! Her eyes are such a piercing icey blue that a stunning glacier popped into Kim's head. She tweaked it and named her Glacia (pronounced Glay-sha) but her foster mom keeps calling her Stormy, so we've landed on Glacia Storm!
