Just saw a bullseye in a cochin egg! So, I’ll be testing fertility soon! Can’t wait to see some cochin babies!

She called me in a frantic at 4:15, asking me to pick up her babies before they close at 4:30. My daughter had a game at 5, 30 mins away BUT those babies were not going to sit in the post office over night. So off we went and got them with 2 mins to spare!

Tail down, head tucked in, eyes closed, puffed up…..This is Coccidia!! Treat your birds now! Don’t even wait for them to look like my sweet girl before treating. It may be too late then.

When we get lots of rain, or good anount of rain every day, its a good idea to go ahead and treat. The juveniles and chicks will always have a harder time.

Use Corid or Endocox in their water.
