Edit: I want to formally apologize to any farrier and or client that has received messages from someone claiming to be taking over my clients. While they were my apprentice for 2-3 months (yes that’s all) I do not feel they are experienced enough to “take over my clients”. I have regretfully given her one or two horse stops to help her out. but I have repeatedly told her to apprentice with an other farrier while I am out on maternity leave, to gain much needed experience. I did make a previous post with a list of TRUSTED and EXPERIENCED farriers that I DO trust if you need your animals taken care of. I have addressed this multiple times to her and it’s hard for me to make this post due to her being family. But my clients are family too and I want yall to know what’s going on. Please forgive the mess I have made trying to bring on another apprentice. The only apprentice I would ever recommend is Nadia Waller (850) 404-3881 who worked for me for over two years. I wish this person well and I hope they get the education they need to do right by everyone 🙏

It has taken me years to build my clientele and i wouldn’t just trust anyone..

While I am so grateful for all of you, I have to take time off while I’m pregnant with baby #2. I have talked to many of you regarding who will continue trimming/shoeing for you while I am gone. If I have not, and for those that aren’t clients who need a farrier, here is my list of educated, experienced, and trustworthy farriers. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

On the eighth day God looked down on his planned paradise and said, I need someone to take care of the feet of one of my greatest creations, the horse 🐎....

So God made a farrier.

God said, i need somebody willing to sit up all night worrying about the the horses he/she cares for....

So God made a farrier.

I need someone with a personality strong enough to handle a complaining client, yet gentle enough to deal with a fractious horse, someone to run the books, stock inventory, skip lunch, run across town to replace a missing shoe, work late, and not get home to 1030pm....

So God made a farrier.

I need someone that will work 70 hours a week, every week, and be able to tolerate being thrown under the bus, even when situations and circumstances are totally out of their control....

So God made a farrier.

God had to have somebody willing to always put the client and their horse first, sometimes even before their own family. God needed someone willing to start early and stay late, miss their kids baseball games, just so their clients can make it to their horse show.....

So God made a farrier.

God needed someone who would give clients what they needed, when they needed it, for a fair price, someone who could be a living example of old fashion virtues, self reliance, hard work, and not spending more than they make, God needed someone to keep the "Global Dream Alive"....

So God made a farrier.

I will be hiring another female apprentice in August. I need someone who has good horsemanship and work ethic. No experience is required.

What the job entails

Pull shoes
Trim
Finishing shoes
Unload the truck
Hold horses

I will provide lunch daily. I need help Mondays, Tuesday’s and Thursday’s. Pay will start at 15% of the day and go up as you learn.
