Yellowstone is a 7yr old 15 hand red roan gelding from the incredible Harrington Hirshey Quarter Horses.

He is a family ranch and rodeo horse that has done it all. We’ve trusted him with the greenest of riders and he has been one of Wade’s go-to pickup horses. We’ve all used him- whether it was to gather, pasture doctor, sort, brand or team rope. He even had a debut this summer as a goat horse at rodeo Bible camp!

He was a favorite at Treasure Valley Community College for students to learning how to rope and for the stock horse team.

He is ready to go in any direction you want to take him. He walks out, has the speed and a nice big motor to get a job done!

🐴 Foundation First: Led by the Spirit
Before a horse can be trusted with much, they have to be grounded in the fundamentals.
That’s why we start with halter-breaking—getting a horse to disengage the hindquarters, follow a feel, and begin to understand pressure.

But it’s not just about mechanics.
It’s about preparing that horse to handle more weight, more pressure, more responsibility—without coming apart.

And it’s the same with us.

“But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.” —Galatians 5:18
“For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the sons of God.” —Romans 8:14

Wade talks about the “rain on a roof” theory—how one or two drops at first might not seem like much, but over time it begins to pour. The weight of life, trials, pressure… it all adds up. And if we haven’t been built right, it overwhelms us.

“Let my teaching fall like rain and my words descend like dew, like showers on new grass, like abundant rain on tender plants.” —Deuteronomy 32:2

God’s Spirit doesn’t just teach us when we’re in a storm—He prepares us before the rain starts falling.
Just like a young horse learns to follow a feel, we have to learn how to be led by God. That’s how we build the confidence to handle the pressure that’s coming.

🩸 The blood cleanses.
💧 The water renews.
🛢️ The oil anoints.

Let Him do that foundation work in you.

We weren’t made to walk this life alone. God designed us for relationship—for partnership that weathers storms, carries burdens, and builds legacy.

Whether it's marriage, ministry, or mission... when two people walk together with Christ at the center, there’s a strength the world can’t explain and hell can’t overcome.

So ask yourself:
Strength doesn’t come from striving—it comes from being bound together in Him.
