EM-Gold für Zonik Plus und Justin Verboomen 🥇🐴
Bei der Dressur-Europameisterschaft in Crozet/FRA wurden die ersten Medaillen in der Einzelwertung vergeben. Der Belgier Justin Verboomen und der erst neunjähriger Rheinländer Hengst Zonik Plus v. Zonik/Hohenstein/Donnerhall (Z.: Dressage Plus, Amadora/POR) sicherten sich mit 82,371 Prozent den Europameistertitel im Grand Prix Special. Für Reiter und Pferd war es die erste Medaille bei einer Europameisterschaft. Bereits in Aachen hatte das Paar mit seinem ersten großen Triumph auf sich aufmerksam gemacht, in Crozet folgte nun die Krönung.
Die Silbermedaille ging an Cathrine Laudrup-Dufour und die Hannoveraner Stute Mount St John Freestyle v. Fidermark/Donnerhall/Atatürk (Z.: Stephan Kurz, Zöbingen). Das dänische Paar erhielt 81,687 Prozent und bestätigte seine beständige Spitzenform bei diesem Championat.

The first medals in the individual ranking were awarded at the European Dressage Championships in Crozet, France. Belgium's Justin Verboomen and the nine-year-old Rhineland stallion Zonik Plus by Zonik/Hohenstein/Donnerhall (breeder: Dressage Plus, Amadora/POR) secured the European Championship title in the Grand Prix Special with an accuracy of 82.371 percent. It was the first medal at a European Championship for both rider and horse. The pair had already attracted attention with their first major triumph in Aachen, and now they have been crowned champions in Crozet.
The silver medal went to Cathrine Laudrup-Dufour and the Hannoveraner mare Mount St John Freestyle by Fidermark/Donnerhall/Atatürk (breeder: Stephan Kurz, Zöbingen). The Danish pair received 81.687 percent and confirmed their consistent top form at this championship.
