Our sweet kitten Sparks is currently fighting suspected Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP), a devastating disease that has already taken away the use of his back legs. Right now, he is partially paralyzed and fighting for his life. šŸ’”šŸ¾

Despite everything, Sparks is still trying so hard. Today he was even attempting to stand up on his own. He still has no real use of his back end, but seeing him fight so hard gives us hope. He still purrs, eats, cries for attention, and looks at us like he doesn’t want to give up.

Treatment has been started, but this is going to be a long, difficult, and very expensive battle. We are asking for help covering his medication, vet visits, and supportive care so we can continue giving him every chance possible.

If you would like to help Sparks fight, donations can be sent to our Venmo: šŸ’›āœØ

Even sharing this post means so much to us. Thank you for supporting this sweet little boy.

BREAKING NEWS: it is officially ✨raining kittens✨ and we are not okay šŸ˜‚šŸ±

Our rescue is currently overrun with tiny, screaming, bottle-demanding freeloaders (we love them, but still). They eat every 2–3 hours like it’s their full-time job… because it is.

So basically… we are being outnumbered and outsnacked.

We desperately need:
šŸ¼ Bottles
šŸ„› Kitten formula
šŸ½ļø Adult cat food

Meet Sesame! 🐾
This adorable baby is searching for his forever home! Sesame is a suspected Chihuahua–Mini Dachshund mix and is expected to stay on the smaller side (likely under 12 pounds, though genetics love to surprise us!).

Sesame is already doing great with his potty training and is a smart little guy eager to keep learning. Like most puppies, he’s currently in the teething stage and has some very sharp baby teeth. Because of this and his small size, Sesame would do best in a home with children ages 10 and up, who can understand how to interact gently with a tiny puppy and help prevent accidental stepping.

Sesame has been exposed to cats, other dogs, and kids, and does well with them. He’s loving, playful, and full of puppy energy—he enjoys a good round of zoomies followed by happily curling up in his crate for a well-earned nap.

Sesame has been neutered, microchipped, started on vaccines, and dewormed. If you’re looking for a sweet, cuddly, and fun-loving companion to grow with your family, Sesame might be your perfect match!

Meet Rumi, a sweet and playful tuxedo girl with a heart full of love! This little lady was a bottle baby, so she’s extra affectionate and adores snuggling. Rumi loves to play and zoom around, but once her energy is spent, she’s happiest curling up in a warm lap for some quality cuddle time.

She’s well-rounded and social, having been happily exposed to other cats, dogs, and kids—making her a perfect fit for a loving home of any kind. Rumi has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and dewormed, so she’s ready to join her forever family today.

Our sweet Will šŸ¤
Will came to us last year as a stray who almost didn’t get a chance. With the help of Cat Crew, he was saved—and from day one, he showed us just how gentle and loving he truly was.

This morning, we found Will struggling, and in our hearts we knew he was telling us it was time. Letting him go was the hardest decision, but also the kindest one we could make for him.

In the time we shared, Will knew nothing but love. He spent his days soaking up the sun in his catio, enjoying pets, treats, and feeling safe. He was so deeply loved, and he will be missed beyond words.

We will miss you greatly, Will. Thank you for trusting us with your heart. 🌈🐾

A little time and a lot of love. Meet ā€œCatā€ he came as a shelter pull on the day he was scheduled to be euthanized. He had a bad upper respiratory and skin infection. He was super malnourished and dehydrated. He weighed less than a pound. He was a fighter who never gave up, and neither did we.
Now he is ready to start his new forever life with his person/people.
Cat is neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped.

Wow… what a year in rescue.
2025 tested us in every possible way.

This year was hard. We slowed down our intakes intentionally, knowing we want to shift toward helping more special-needs and medical cats and kittens — the ones that are so often overlooked. Even with that, rescue life didn’t slow down for us.

Kitten season still came in hot. We took in multiple litters, many trapped from feral colonies, and one heartbreaking litter that had been thrown away in a garbage bag. Somehow, against all odds, every single one of those kittens found a loving home.

We had three kittens quite literally show up on our doorstep — because that’s just how rescue works sometimes. We took in two seniors, including one who was scheduled to be euthanized for being ā€œaggressive.ā€ Plot twist: he isn’t aggressive at all. He was just sick. He’s since been diagnosed with hyperthyroidism, and we’re getting it under control.

We also opened our hearts to another senior who sadly had severe skin cancer. Making the decision to say goodbye to him was devastating, but we know it was the kindest thing we could do.

This year also brought us some incredibly medically complex kittens. Chai came to us barely alive, having seizures, and we weren’t sure he’d even make it through the night. Miraculously, he did. But his injuries were too severe, and we ultimately had to make the heartbreaking decision to humanely euthanize him. He was deeply loved for every moment he was with us.

Despite the stress, exhaustion, tears, and heartbreak — there was also so much good. So many lives saved. So many cats placed into amazing, loving homes. And so much support from our community.

We are endlessly grateful to everyone who donated, shared our posts, fostered, adopted, or simply cheered us on. We truly could not do this without you.

Here’s to another year in rescue — bruised hearts, full arms, and never backing down for the ones who need us most.

Meet Bailey! This absolute heart-stealer came to us from the local shelter after going through a lot: hernia repair surgery and a leg amputation. But don’t you dare underestimate him — Bailey is fully healed, thriving, and living his best life. Tripod? Yes. Slowed down? Not even a little.

Bailey gets around just fine and then some. He’s super cuddly, full of personality, and totally unfazed by a busy household. Kids? Dogs? Other cats? Bailey’s already been there, done that, and is cool as can be.

He’s also the full package medically — neutered, microchipped, dewormed, and vaccinated (including an up-to-date rabies vaccine).

This is your reminder to keep your white cats indoors.

We rescued Gemini a couple of months ago from a feral colony, and he was in very rough shape. He came to us with a severe skin infection and cancer already present on his ears from prolonged sun exposure.

Our plan was to remove his ears to try to eliminate the cancer, but first we needed to get his infection under control and help him gain some much-needed weight. Gemini was a fighter and made steady progress — until about a week ago, when we noticed he was drooling and struggling to eat despite clearly being hungry.

After a veterinary exam, we received the heartbreaking news that the cancer had progressed into his mouth. Once it reaches that point, there are very few options left. With heavy hearts, we made the decision to let him go peacefully.

Though his life before rescue was incredibly hard, Gemini’s final chapter was filled with love, comfort, and care. He mattered. He was seen. He was cherished. He went to sleep knowing kindness — something he deserved all along.

Gemini was a sweet boy who had been forgotten for far too long, but he will never be forgotten by us. šŸ¤
