Congratulations Colorado Horse Rescue Network! 🎉

🎉 HUGE NEWS for Colorado horses! 🎉
We are beyond thrilled to announce that Horse Plus Humane Society has awarded a $50,000 grant to the Colorado Horse Rescue Network! This incredible gift was made possible by the generosity of one of our amazing supporters, Karen, who also held a special place in her heart for CHRN. Sadly, Karen is no longer with us, but her legacy and love for horses lives on. Karen's thoughtfulness went beyond Horse Plus Humane Society. She watched CHRN on the Horse Plus TV show, Horse Rescue Heroes and wanted to help CHRN too as part of her lasting legacy. Karen asked Horse Plus Humane Society’s president, Tawnee Preisner, to help CHRN with some of the estate.
For years, CHRN has dreamed of having an indoor training barn and dedicated veterinary space. We at Horse Plus have been working alongside them to make this dream a reality, but haven't been in a position to contribute financially until now. Thanks to Karen's loving legacy through the Horse Plus Foundation, we can finally help!
This $50,000 grant will be instrumental in making CHRN's vision a reality. It will allow them to better serve the horses in their care and provide them with the best possible chance for a bright future. This gift was set up as a matching grant to be used to build an indoor Training and Veterinarian barn. CHRN was able to raise enough money to meet their goal to match the $50,000 grant, giving them $100,000 for this project.  
Karen's generosity is a testament to her love for horses and her commitment to their well-being. Her legacy will live on through the countless horses that will benefit from this gift, both at Horse Plus Humane Society and the Colorado Horse Rescue Network. Thank you, Karen, and thank you to everyone who supports our mission to help horses in need! ❤️

We are very excited to announce that our Full Circle of Life Horse Shelter Network continues to grow! We have added nine more organizations to the network. Founders of Horse Plus Humane Society, Jason and Tawnee Preisner, have worked tirelessly over the last five years to build this network. What's impressive about this network, is that this is not just organization signing up on an online form. Each one of these organizations Jason and Tawnee have met with and mentored in person. This network is changing the world of horse rescue, for the first time ever actually uniting horse rescuers across the nation and now internationally, helping them to become the best organizations they can be, organizations that help every horse even if they need the Last Act of Kindness. Each organization is diverse and unique in its own way, some are small, some are large but they're all doing what they can to help horses. They all know that they can reach out to each other to get advice, and they all can reach out to Tawnee if they need assistance directly from her. This movement is huge, and it is changing the world of horse rescue, and uniting horse rescues in a significant way for the first time ever.
