Fuzzy Critter's Rabbitry and Farm We are a small farm where we mainly raise Rabbits for meat. We also have milk goats and chickens to go with our small garden.

We currently have Rabbits available, post county fair! We have Mini Rex and New Zealands. The mini's are already posted, but we will have the NZ's up tomorrow (ran out of daylight). These guys wont be around for long, we need to make room for the fall litters!

We have 3 mini rex rabbits up for discussion!! Weights, age, gender and tattoos are attached to each photo.

The buck is a little on the large side and has crooked teeth from chewing, but has wonderful body confirmation and fur! He will make a great breeding buck. He also has a wonderful attitude.

Both does have good confirmation and very nice coloring (the lighting made one look brown, she's black I promise). Both have good fur although the smaller one is a little rougher towards the tail. They are both show quality and would make excellent breeders. The larger doe has a better attitude between the two, but both are good on the table.

County fair is almost here! Anyone looking to buy meat for their freezer, come check out the livestock barn. The 4-H and FFA kids have put alot of work into their market animals and they could you use the support! There will be pigs, steers, lambs, goats, rabbits and chickens! All these are meat animals and that's what they are raised for. Theres also dairy cows for anyone wanting to raise their own milk! Egg laying chickens for your flock of "free eggs"! Pet bunnies for your kiddos (or to start your own 4-H projects)!
Fill your freezer and help a kiddo out! No more money going to big box stores, support local kids doing hard work!

Something interesting about goat's milk. Different breeds have different cream percentages in their milk. (Some people believe they have no cream) The frozen cube on the right is from our Nubian's milk while the left is from our Spanish goat. The Nubians are an actual dairy goat while the Spanish are not, but she's providing on the farm anyways 😏 lol. The nubian cube has a cream line on top of the cube (half of it already fell off in the bag). Its a very strange texture when frozen, but it shows the major difference in cream amounts which I thought was pretty neat! We've actually made ice cream with our dairy goat cream and use it in pasta sauces as well. A cream separator is definitely needed for their milk because it doesn't separate like cows milk, which also gives their milk a richer flavor.
