IMPORTANT UPDATE!

This post is to let everyone know that Flower City Rabbitry is relocating to Middlesex NY. While I love Rochester, it is time for me to leave my parents home and find my own space.

Don’t fret though! For those still looking for rabbits, advice, or even the occasional nail clip, I will still be making weekly trips to Rochester to visit my parents.

Super happy about the tort senior buck showing! My senior lilac tort buck (Roger) got 3rd place in open show!

While I know Lilac Tort Mini Rexes are difficult to win shows with due to their naturally softer fur I will always love this color! From their appearance to their genetics and even their personality, I love it all.

This week has been chaotic but amazing, and I would do it all again in a heart beat. Hopefully as more time passes we’ll see more and more tort varieties on the show tables.

Show day is tomorrow! All the rabbits are fed, watered, with clean cages and they have their toys! Couldn’t help posting...

Found this amazing clip of a CBC documentary on the ARBA from a few years ago. Thought it would be great to share for those interested in learning more about this national competition.

Side note: there are now more than 49 recognized rabbit breeds in the ARBA’s standard of perfection

Much better. Now Poppy can have a space to relax away from the babies and the babies can run around as they please and still get back into the nest box if they want to.
