🐾 update about a stray we recently found. 💔

Earlier that morning, this sweet boy had been hit by a car and was found in very serious condition. Shortly after we found him, we were able to locate his owner.

Unfortunately, his injuries were severe, and his owner was unable to afford the veterinary care that would have been needed to possibly try and save him. After speaking with his owner and assessing his condition, the heartbreaking decision was made to let him go.

His owner was able to come and say goodbye and spend some time with him before he was humanely euthanized to prevent any further suffering. 💔🐾

While this was not the outcome any of us wanted, we are thankful that we were able to find his owner so he did not have to leave this world alone. He was loved, and he was given the dignity and peace he deserved.

Please keep his family in your thoughts as they grieve the loss of their beloved companion. 🌈🐾
