Cat's Cradle Rescue Cat’s Cradle Rescue is an all-volunteer non-profit rescue group formed to promote the well-being and adoptability of local Oregon cats.

Everyone understands the problem with cat over-population and the need for Spay and Neuter programs. The question is WHAT DO WE DO WITH THE CATS (and kittens) ALREADY BORN? Cat's Cradle Rescue keeps cats out of shelters by offering an alternative to a cage - we are a no-kill FOSTER-HOME BASED rescue group that welcomes cats to our home environments as they await adoption. Cat’s Cradle Rescue is an all volunteer non-profit rescue group formed to promote the well-being and adoptability of local Oregon cats. We provide loving foster homes where abandoned and shelter felines can socialize in a family environment while receiving medical care, spay and neuter surgery with the goal of being adopted into qualified caring homes.

1)Why Foster Care? Does your new kitty like children? Does she play with dogs or find other felines too uncomfortable to be around? Does he have consistent litter-box manners? Does he want to cuddle or perhaps his comfort zone is to be more independent. Many life-factors influence cat behavior and while genetics plays a role, we know that human touch, kindness, nurturing and consistency of care are non-negotiable requirements. We provide all of this.

2) Helping the Community

Traditional shelters in our area do not accept owned pets. We help cats stay in their current homes until adoption and offer free online postings and guidance. We do not have space in our foster homes for every cat and accept cats only when a home is available.

3) How You Can Help? Have you considered being a foster parent? Housing cats or kittens on a temporary basis is a win for the feline, a win for the adopter and a feel-good win for you as your care saves lives. Become part of the solution! Donate:

Mommy cat gave birth to two kittens in a chimney of all places. By a stroke of luck they were discovered and brought, at 5 days old, to one of our experienced caregivers for neonates. Fast forward 4 weeks and Chimney and Ash are loving life. They are future Cat's Cradle Rescue "works in progress" and will be up for adoption in a month or so. Silly kittens find fun in odd places!

We have a sweet senior kitty, Lady Godiva who is 10-11 yrs old. She is deaf, was abandoned and tossed outside to fend for herself. She is a very sweet and petite kitty who prefers to be the only pet in the house. Most likely because she was defending herself from the outside terrors. She is one of our special Offered By Owner kitties who so deserves a gentle loving home.

With her warm hazelnut eyes and quirky polydactyl paws, Dora isn’t just adorable—she’s unforgettable. She loves to wrestle with her brothers, chase anything that moves, and curl up in a cozy lap once the zoomies are over.

💚 Friendly & playful
💚 Housetrained
💚 Low grooming needs
💚 Spayed, microchipped, vaccinated (ready for adoption after 6/23)
💚 FIV/FeLV negative

Adoption fee: $150 solo / $250 for a pair (because kittens are better in twos!)

It’s a busy summer and cats cradle rescue is desperately looking for foster volunteers that could dedicate their time in fostering for at least one year.
We are getting several calls for moms with kittens, kittens without moms, teens, young adults, and adult cats. It is recommended that a foster Volunteer has a separate room for the kitties so they can acclimate to their new foster surroundings. We are located in the Beaverton, Aloha and Hillsboro area.
We are seeking Foster’s now currently. If you have the availability and the interest in helping us with fostering, please go directly to our website to fill out and submit a foster volunteer application.

✨ LITTLE FLUFFY MOTION MACHINES ✨
Meet Max, Maisy, Milo & Molly—12-week-old siblings who are 90% zoomies, 10% cuddle puddles, and 100% adorable. 🖤
They may all look like tiny black shadows, but each has their own vibe: Max is convinced his little white chest dot makes him famous. Maisy and Molly are bold, bouncy, and full of sass. Milo is the sweetest of the bunch—quiet and gentle, with a mild rib condition that doesn’t slow him down one bit!

They love windows, wand toys, and ambushing your feet (you’ve been warned). Ideal homes would have another young cat or be open to adopting a pair—because chaos is better shared.

Indoor-only. Currently in foster care in Hillsboro. Adoption fee is $250/pair or $150 for a single kitten.

Apply now and prepare for love, laughter, and non-stop kitten zooms. 🐾💨

Stripes, Fluff & Moon-Night. Three siblings who are almost ready for adoption. They are just under 8 weeks now and will be ready for their new home after June 2nd. Stripes is the medium hair chocolate brown Siamese boy, Fluff is the long hair white sister in the middle, Moon-Night is the long hair white & black brother. Moon-Night really needs to be adopted with one of his siblings. All three are just super sweet and very well behaved kittens. It would be terrific if they could all be adopted together. It has happened before.

Cat's Cradle Rescue is putting a shout out for experienced bottle baby fosters in the Beaverton, Hillsboro, Aloha, Tigard & SW Portland area, We are going to require help very soon. Bottle feeding takes someone who is super dedicated and committed. You would have these babies until they are weaned at 6 weeks. Once they are weaned they will be transferred to our kitten foster families. Everyday changes and we have to act fast since most of these bottle babies are at risk. Can you be ready at the drop of a hat? Please contact us by filling out and submitting a foster application from our website. Before filling out the application, please make sure all family members are on board. We look forward to hearing from you! Thank you
