This girl is officially 2 years old today! Hopefully we’ll be seeing more of her soon as we get serious with her training. I usually start my dogs young, but life happened and she grew up without the strict training the others had. It’ll be interesting to see how she works compared to my other girls. Herding will be our main focus.

Where to start… I feel like I’ve been preparing for this past week for months, and the Fête du Beauceron was everything I hoped it would be and more. ❤️
The WBA Journée was packed with so many beautiful Beaucerons. It was great to finally see in person so many dogs I had only admired through social media, meet folks I’d only known online, and spend time with my West Coast friends. Even better was getting to reconnect with four of Zada’s kids and their wonderful owners, watching them all grown up and thriving was the highlight of the weekend.
Zada didn’t exactly get the results I was expecting, but I was still happy with the results. We walked away with a Good in temperament and an Excellent in morphology! I’ll attach the video below.
She also got to have some real fun on Friday at the French Ring workshop. It had been 6 years since our last bitework session, but the moment she got on the field she lit right up like no time had passed. So proud of my girl.

When Zada’s babies went to all corners of the country I didn’t think I would get a chance to see them again in person. Not only did I get to meet one baby, I got to reconnect with three. It was so much fun watching them do the bitey things with Saul at the WBA French Ring workshop.

The last baby is now happily with her new owner Cecilia Yu. This litter has been such an emotional journey, and I know that when I get home life is going to feel a little quieter without their playful little selves zooming around. These babies are already so amazing at just eight weeks old with the incredible level of drive they are showing. I’m expecting big things out of all three and my heart is overflowing with pride and love for them.
