Hickory Tavern Farm Whippets and Barbet Hickory Tavern Farm is a 200 acre family farm located in southwest Pennsylvania. We show, breed and adore our Barbet, a beautiful French Water Dog.

With more than 40 years raising and showing top quality horses and dogs, our lives have truly been enriched through the relationships that we share with our animals. We are currently showing AKC Whippets and Barbet (French Water Dogs) that are raised on our farm in Southwest Pennsylvania. Our dogs have lots of land to develop their minds and muscles.

Happy Birthday to Solene!
Today we celebrate the 13th birthday of our sweetest girl; a special show dog, excellent mom, and the very best house pet anyone could have! A breed winner at the Westminster Kennel Club, AKC National Championship (2x), National Dog Show, Barbet National show, Opposite at the Barbet National (2x) and a Bronze Grand Champion, all earned from the Veteran class. Solene is the very first Barbet produced in our breeding program. We are so proud of her and everything she has accomplished.
