Moon was seen by our Internal Medicine team for further investigation of his elevated liver values and Tbil. After performing a liver cytology, ultrasound, and additional lab work, we started him on a few medications to support his recovery. 🩺✨

We’re so happy to share that Moon has been doing great at his most recent recheck! 🎉 His bright personality shines just as much as his name — we’re so proud of this sweet boy and his progress. 💕🐶

Smokey went on a little field trip today for what we like to call a “free catch” urine sample. Let’s just say… he didn’t hesitate to go before we could get the "cup" under him! 😅

We might be redefining the term “free catch” around here — but hey, desperate times call for desperate measures! 😂

🐱 Meet Smokey! 💙
Smokey came to see us with a swollen chin, and after some quick care, we discovered he had an abscess that needed to be drained. With a little help from some meds, our team was able to get him feeling much better in no time! 🩺✨

Here’s a sweet photo of Callie and Smokey after his procedure — just look at those adorable, chubby cheeks! 🐾💞 What a total love bug!

You might also notice Smokey’s left ear is tipped flat on top — this is a universal sign used by veterinarians and rescues to indicate that a cat has been spayed or neutered. It helps identify community cats who are already part of a managed or feral colony. 🐈💚

We’re so glad Smokey is on the mend and back to feeling his best!

💙 Meet Cash! 💙
Cash is an adorable little French Bulldog puppy who came to see us after feeling painful and having a sore back leg. 🐶💔

The good news? After a full exam and in-house X-rays, Dr. Maxfield didn’t find any fractures! 🙌 We gave Cash some pain relief, sent him home with medications, and instructed his family on plenty of rest so he can heal up quickly.

He was such a sweetheart during his visit — we all loved getting puppy kisses from this handsome boy! 💕 We’re so glad nothing serious was going on and that Cash is already on the mend. 🩺🐾

Roni came to see us after experiencing vomiting and hematochezia (blood in his stool). Our team jumped right in to help him feel better and monitor his recovery closely.

Today, we’re thrilled to report that Roni hasn’t had any vomiting or diarrhea — and he’s been loving the cozy blue bed we found just for him! 🐶💤

We’re so happy to see this sweet little guy feeling more like himself again. Sending all the love (and belly rubs) to Roni and his family! 💕

This is Mr. Scout, our charming cocker spaniel werewolf! 🐺✨
He’s been a rehab superstar for a year and a half, working hard on his hip dysplasia. Thanks to consistent laser therapy and underwater treadmill sessions, we’ve built strong muscle and held off surgery! 💪🐾

Nola came in recently because she wasn’t feeling her best. Dr. Lecoq and Lauren ran several tests, including a point-of-care FAST scan.

A FAST scan is a quick and effective diagnostic tool that helps our ER doctors look for important signs inside the abdomen or chest — giving us valuable information in just a few minutes! 🩺 It’s included with every exam here in our emergency department and helps us communicate clearly with pet parents about what’s going on with their furry loved ones.

Nola was such a sweetheart during her scan — she calmly relaxed while the probe and cool gel were applied, curiously checking out her surroundings the whole time. 🐾 We’re so proud of this brave girl and happy she’s on the road to feeling better! 💕

🐱 Meet Miso — Our National Cat Day Sweetheart! 💕
Miso was brought to our ER after being found hiding under a car for two days. She came in feeling very lethargic and hypothermic, but our team quickly got her started on supportive care. 💉🩺

After some much-needed TLC, Miso perked right up! Her tests came back negative, and she was able to go home with her new mom — safe, warm, and loved. 🏡💖

We’re so happy to celebrate National Cat Day with this success story. Miso is the sweetest girl and a perfect reminder of how resilient our feline friends can be. 🐾

❤️ Meet Sweet Kodak! ❤️
Kodak came to see us with a wound on his side — his owner wasn’t sure how it happened, but apparently, he’s known for sneaking out the door whenever he gets the chance! 🐾

Once we got him sedated to clean and suture the area, we realized his wound was perfectly heart-shaped — how fitting for such a sweet boy! 💕

It was a quick and easy fix to get Kodak all patched up and back home with his family. We have a feeling it’ll be a little harder for him to make a break for it now with that giant e-collar! 😅

We’re so glad you’re feeling better, Kodak! 💙
