Duck season is in full swing, and so are the grass seeds. 🦆🌾

This hardworking lab came in after a day in the marsh with a seed lodged in his eye and another in his mouth. Thankfully Dr. Waters had both out in no time, and he's back to doing what he loves. 🐾

Hunting, hiking, or just romping through tall grass? Squinting, pawing at the face, drooling, or gagging after time outdoors can mean something's stuck. Don't wait. Call Five Towns Animal Hospital today! (516) 374-5050

A peak inside! 🦴🩺

Digital radiographs are one of the most powerful tools we use at Five Towns Animal Hospital to get a clear, detailed look at what's happening internally. From assessing heart and lung health to evaluating bones and joints, in-house X-rays allow us to make fast, accurate diagnostic decisions for your pet during their visit.

Notice changes in your pet’s bathroom habits? Ultrasound can help! 🐾✨
Bladder stones in cats and dogs can develop for several reasons, including diet, genetics, and pH imbalances. Catching them early is key to preventing painful blockages or infections!

Common warning signs include:
🐾 Straining to urinate or frequent small amounts
🐾 Blood in the urine
🐾 Crying or vocalizing while using the litter box
🐾 Licking the urinary area excessively

If you notice any of these signs in your cat or dog, give Five Towns Animal Hospital a call at 516-374-5050 so we can help them feel comfortable again!

Sitting tall for mealtime! 🍽️💖
Meet this absolute superstar, who eats her meals in a special custom chair! She has megaesophagus—a medical condition where the esophagus has trouble moving food down to the stomach on its own. Sitting completely upright while eating allows gravity to do the work so food can travel down safely!

With the right setup and dedicated care from her family, she’s living her absolute best, happiest life. Isn't she looking pretty in pink? 💕✨

Drop a ❤️ to send this sweet girl some extra love!
