This was a interesting find this morning. Didn’t even know about this little fossorial badass; introducing the Central Florida Crownsnake! Slender with an almost opalesque iridescence and tiny little rear fangs. They’re harmless little guys With an adorable attitude.

This is a gorgeous Axanthic coastal carpet python. Axanthic is a recessive gene that reduces the red and yellow pigmentation on the scales. Carpets are also one of my favorite python species as well! Enjoy!

We had such a fun time today! There’s something special about a smaller venue where you get to slow down, connect with people, and enjoy the show in a more laid-back atmosphere. 🙌
