☀️ Beautiful weather is finally here… and unfortunately, so are the ticks. 🕷️

The tick in this photo fell off a patient just this morning! 😬

As you and your pets enjoy the sunshine this weekend, don’t forget that tick season is already in full swing. Ticks can carry diseases like Lyme, Anaplasmosis, and Ehrlichia — and it only takes one bite to cause problems for both pets and people. There have been sightings of the lone star tick in New England.

A few quick reminders:
🐾 Keep pets on year-round flea & tick prevention
🌿 Check your pets (and yourself!) after hikes, walks, or yard time
🦴 Pay close attention around ears, toes, neck folds, and under collars
☎️ Need prevention refills or recommendations? Give us a call!

Male, black lab puppy, red collar, no tags, no microchip. Found right by Henniker Septic System about 20 minutes ago. If you recognize this pup please contact the Henniker Police Department at 603-428-3213
