The 2nd HKC Scent Work trial ended last night with a bunch of happy dogs and owners with smiles. What else can we ask! Thank you to the exhibitors, people who drove hours to join the event, 2 fantastic Judges Kim Williams and Nina Brown and an outstanding secretary and team . The 2nd Day of the HKC 2nd Scent work trial is already over. Great participation, awesome judges and a show chair who rocks. Thanks Tracy Rouch for your hard work. And our co-chair Kate Bakko. We had a beautiful Morning then the rain poured and unfortunately we didn’t take many pictures. This one says it all. Happy team earning a new title. Congratulations to all the new titles winners, high in trial and everyone who joined us to make the day a success .

Please keep an eye out

A noticeable shift in the model data today as what will likely become Imelda is not expected to be influenced by Humberto as much as earlier forecasts showed.

The upper-level low that's forecast to swing east this weekend will more than likely help draw the storm north and west.

This increases impacts for the Carolinas, especially east of I-77.

Still a good bit if uncertainty, but those planning on traveling to or living on the coast should monitor the forecast closely.

The first day of our 2nd Scent Work Trial was completed without rain at the beautiful Camp Kanuga.
Congratulations to Teresa Hicks and Luna the Border Collie for Qualifying and earning the Detective Title.

The Hendersonville Kennel Club is once again sponsoring a Children's Dog Show at Salvation Army in Hendersonville on October 11. Helene forced the cancellation of the show last year but we're back this year and hoping for a great turnout! All proceeds benefit Salvation Army's Angel Tree fund which provides holiday gifts for kids in need throughout the area.

We are welcoming all the new walkers and their dogs.
Join us on Tuesdays, 6:15pm, The Park At Flat Rock. It's free, yes Free. Bring your dog(s) and your smile. Come walk, chat, laugh and forget about your worries!

Thank you to our veterinarians Peggy Sayer, DVM Cardiologist and Joshua Broadwater DVM, Ophthalmologist and their team. They took time to travel from Charlotte to be with us.
