These two sweet girls absolutely LOVE attention and being social! From head scratches to quality cuddle time, they made every visit a joy. It was such a PLEASURE taking care of them, and I loved getting to know their UNIQUE personalities.

I absolutely LOVE taking care of this special trio, TIGGER, ROCKET & SAMMY! 💙🤍💛

These sweet kitties hold a SPECIAL place in my heart because I only get to see them for part of the year. The rest of the time, they enjoy the sunshine in Florida, so I CHERISH every visit we have together here in North Carolina.

Watching their UNIQUE personalities shine, caring for their daily routines, and spending time with them is always a joy. It's one of the many reasons I LOVE what I do.

✨Introducing COCO CHANEL!!✨

Some cats simply have "IT." And COCO CHANEL has it in spades.

This stunning beauty is approximately 16 years old, but don't let her age fool you. Honestly, I think someone forgot to tell COCO she's a senior because she looks and acts like a cat half her age!

COCO was rescued from a municipal shelter after finding herself on the euthanasia list. Thankfully, her story didn't end there. Today, she's living like the QUEEN she was always meant to be at The Velvet Paw Kitty Hotel. 👑

With her old HOLLYWOOD glamour, captivating blue eyes, and the sweetest little voice, COCO loves to chat and will happily tell you all about her day. She ADORES attention and would thrive as your ONE-and-ONLY feline companion.

Be sure to tune in to WLOS ABC 13 this Wednesday for PET PALS, where Coco Chanel will be making her TELEVISION debut!📺

Please WELCOME sweet MAGGIE, from Laps and Naps Home for Senior Cats to The Velvet Paw Kitty Hotel!👑

MAGGIE is a beautiful 13-year-old senior kitty from who will be spending a few days with us.

MAGGIE'S world changed when her beloved person passed away from cancer, and now she is looking for a new chapter filled with love, comfort, and companionship.

She is the more outgoing of the sisters and loves being close to her people. Maggie will happily follow you from room to room and carry on the sweetest conversations along the way. She is gentle, loving, and enjoys playing with feather toys. She also takes medication twice daily for hyperthyroidism and is an absolute lady about taking her medicine.

As always, we are taking INTRODUCTIONS slowly. Remember, when introducing cats, PATIENCE is key. A slow introduction helps everyone feel safe, comfortable, and confident in their new surroundings.

For now, MAGGIE is settling in, receiving plenty of love, and enjoying all the comforts of The Velvet Paw Kitty Hotel.

Like many cats, ELLIOTT was a little unsure of his new surroundings at first. Meanwhile, his brave sister SOPHIA GRACE wasted no time exploring the hotel and checking out all the accommodations!

It's always fun to watch each kitty settle in at their OWN pace. Before long, ELLIOTT realized that room service, comfy accommodations, and plenty of TLC aren't so bad after all.💙🤍💛

Please welcome COA-COA to The Velvet Paw Kitty Hotel! 👑

Our NEWEST guest is the beautiful and spirited COA-COA, who is currently available for adoption through .

At approximately 16 years young, COA-COA proves that age is just a number! She is full of PERSONALITY, carries herself like the queen she is, and would prefer to reign as the one and only cat in her kingdom. 👑

We don't know much about her past, other than that she was surrendered to a local municipal shelter and sadly found herself on the euthanasia list. Thankfully, the wonderful team at Laps and Naps Home for Senior Cats stepped in and gave her a second chance at life.

A very special THANK YOU to her FOSTER mom, ELISABETH for making the trip from Columbia, South Carolina, to bring this sweet senior lady to stay at The Velvet Paw Kitty Hotel.

COA-COA deserves a loving home where she can spend her GOLDEN years being cherished, spoiled, and adored. Please help us find her FUREVER family by SHARING this post!

This handsome SENIOR gentleman has stolen my heart. ❤️ I absolutely LOVE caring for senior kitties. They are truly something special, wise, gentle souls with a LIFETIME of stories to tell if we take the time to listen.

There is something so REWARDING about earning the TRUST of an older cat and making their days a little brighter, more comfortable, and full of love. MR. MEOWKINS has already reminded me why seniors hold such a SPECIAL place in my heart. 👑

This MAGNIFICENT feline is approximately the size of a small beagle and has enough personality to match! MAX has a favorite game: fetch. Well... sort of. I toss his treats, he chases them down, and then eats them. Technically it's fetch, but with a DELICIOUS ending.😹
