🐾✨ Program Update from A&D Frenchies! ✨🐾

We wanted to take a moment to update everyone on our breeding plans and share what’s coming up for our program!

💔 First, Freya – Our first pairing with Twix from Joyful Frenchies didn’t result in a pregnancy. While that’s always a bit of a heartbreak, we know these things happen and we’re staying patient. Freya’s heat cycle has been about 9 months between heats, so we’re hopeful to try again in January 2026. She’ll once again be paired with the handsome Twix, and we’re keeping our fingers crossed for a successful litter this time! 🤞

🐶 Next up: Frankie!
She had her first heat in March, and if she follows the average 6-month cycle, her next heat should be around September. However, Frankie won’t yet be 18 months old at that time. Here at A&D Frenchies, we do not breed any female under 18 months, and even then, only if she’s fully mature and ready for the process both physically and emotionally. 💕

If she comes into heat between October and December, we’ll consult with her Guardian mom and our vet to ensure she’s ready. If she’s not, we’ll wait until Spring 2026. We’re in no rush! Health and well-being always come first. 🐾

🤍 If she is ready, she’ll be paired with Rip from Diamond in the Ruff Bulldogs; a gorgeous, tiny blue pied boy who complements Frankie’s blocky build perfectly! If everything aligns, that would mean puppies arriving around December–January, and going to their new homes in February–March 2026.

📋 For Frankie’s upcoming litter, first pick male and female are already reserved, and we’re currently accepting two more pick deposits. If you’ve been thinking about getting on our list, now’s the time!

🌟 We’ve definitely got puppy fever, and while we were so hopeful for Freya’s litter, we’ve been living vicariously through our breeder friends lately. We’ll be sharing a shout-out post soon with some amazing breeders we trust and recommend, in case our timeline doesn’t line up with yours. 🐕

Congratulations 🎊 to the Dwenger's!!! Our fabulous guardian home pawrents 🐾 Cassi Dwenger and Corey Dwenger got married today and Frankie made the absolute CUTEST flower girl.

She's home from surgery and resting. She's not happy, but she's here. She had some trouble warming up after she came out of anesthesia, but other than that, no complications 🙌

Hello Frenchie Families!
We need your help. Our kiddo and his friend picked up this boy running on the side of a highway about 10 miles west of Cadillac, Michigan... near a town called Harrietta.
He looks to be a Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix, is neutered, and has an orange/red ratchet strap tied around his neck. He obviously ripped away from whatever he was tied to. Maybe due to the fireworks. He is muddy, matted, and over-heated. My son and his friend have given him water and have him the the car with the A/C on blast while they figure out what to do with the poor guy.
Please share him to help find his family.
Also, please keep in mind that the 4th of July is a fabulous celebration, but can be scary for our fur babies. Keep them safe during this time (and that does NOT mean tied up outside).

💩 P**p scooping drama at my house... again. 🤦‍♀️

We're now on p**per scooper #4 because my kids have mysteriously “accidentally” broken the last three. 😒
Pretty sure it’s a strategic protest—like if it’s broken, they think they’re off p**p patrol.
