There is something so satisfying about clean and dry stalls and horses! We received so much rain over the last several days, but our horses were happy! Hand walks, turn out in the arena, lots of orchard and alfalfa!

Summer break is just around the corner, and what better way for your child to spend the Summer than by galloping into adventure at Willow Farm’s Summer Break Horseback Riding Camp?!

Our camp isn’t just about horses – it’s about creating lifelong memories, building confidence, and, of course, having tons of fun! Here’s what your young equestrian can expect:

✨ Learn from the Best – Our expert instructors will guide campers every step of the way, from brushing down the horses to perfecting riding techniques.

🌞 Fresh Air & Adventure – Get out of the house and into the great outdoors, where kids will spend their days exploring the farm, riding through scenic trails, and enjoying all the sights and sounds of spring.

🏇 Hands-On Fun – Campers will get plenty of time in the saddle, as well as engaging in farm activities like grooming, mucking out stables (yes, it’s part of the fun!), and learning horse care. At the end of the week we will be having a horse show with families welcome to attend and watch their rider!

🎉 New Friends & Memories – From riding challenges to spring-themed games, your child will bond with fellow horse lovers and create unforgettable memories along the way.

Spring has Sprung at Willow Farm!

We soaked up the sunshine this weekend with some much-needed TLC around the property—and wow, it's looking gorgeous out here!

Our entrance is now lined with beautiful, hardy plants that are ready to take on the Texas heat, and Ella and I had a blast planting a fresh rose garden by the guest house. We also gave the trees some love with new mulch, and the pastures? They're lush, green, and picture-perfect!

All this blooming beauty has us feeling energized and inspired—and we’d love to share it with you!

My heart is so full today. I was reminded of why we do this and why we started our program in the first place: to share the gift of horseback riding with future generations. We took three riders and two of our horses to the ETHJC Winter Thaw show. These girls were nothing short of amazing. It was cold, windy and raining. Not one complaint, they were just so happy to be here. Truly a humbling and happy experience.

Thank you for entrusting .smith_eventing and I with your children. They are a joy! Today was nothing short of amazing. I love our little barn and the teamwork these girls demonstrated!
